Kids Classes
Sunday Classes
It is often said that “Kids are the future of the church!” We believe this is true, but we also believe that kids are a vital part of the present church! Each Sunday we have classes for children 7 months through Grade 12. Classes occur during the sermon time. Our goal is to teach our kids the foundational stories of the Bible and instill in them the core principles of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Our desire is to plant seeds that will grow into a well-rooted faith that will sustain them throughout their entire life.
Check-In and Check-Out Procedure
All students Grade 1 and under must be checked-in before class. Parents must complete a registration card for each child and give it to the teacher at the start of class. Parents will receive a ticket with a unique number on it. Children will not be released from class until a parent with this ticket comes to pick them up.
Registration cards are available on the Visitors Table in the foyer or can be obtained from one of our greeters. If you do not have time to fill out a registration card before class begins, the class teacher can provide you with one.
Washrooms
Please ensure that you take your child to the washroom before they come to class. Older children can be escorted to the washroom during class time with a volunteer waiting in the hall, however volunteers do not change diapers or assist in the washroom. If your child requires a diaper change or assistance in the washroom, you will be notified.

Small Groups
We have groups that meet in homes across the city on Sunday evenings. These groups are great times of fellowship, encouragement, discussion, and study. In the fall of 2025, our groups are watching episodes of The Chosen, Season Three and discussing the texts and issues referenced.

Get Involved
There are many other opportunities to get connected and serve. Most of what goes on in our congregation is done by volunteers and we would love for you to be one of them! Whatever your passions, interests, or skills, we want to help you find a place to use them to glorify God and build up His church. Here are just some of the places you can get involved.

Worship
There are many opportunities to get involved in our Sunday morning worship times whether it is leading from the front, helping with special events, or helping with the technical end of things. If you’re interested in helping out in this area, please let us know!
Creative
There are many opportunities for creatives to get involved in our congregation. If you are an artist, a photographer, a videographer, a scriptwriter, actor, crafter or have other creative skills, please let us know!
Practical
It may not be glamorous, but some of the greatest servants in our church do all their work behind the scenes! There are many, practical hands-on jobs that need attending to from picking up communion cups after service, to organizing our potlucks, decorating our bulletin boards, folding, cutting, assembling, and much more. If you’re interested in helping out in this area, please let us know!
Fellowship
Part of being a church family is spending time together. Our Fellowship Team organizes activities to give us opportunities to do just that. Check out our Events page for upcoming activities or let us know if you would like to assist in making these fellowship activities happen!
Service
We are regularly looking for new opportunities to get involved in our community and share God’s love with others. Our upcoming service projects can be found on our Events page. If you would like to get involved in planning future service projects please let us know!
